About me.

portrait by my mate Jeremy (koodetat)

I am a twenty-one-year-old Freak and Geek hunting for the awesome at the end of the rainbow. I attended an all women’s college in Pennsylvania for two years before taking a year off and moving to Portland.

I write because I can’t sing. Poetry, Blogs, Paint Comics, Kvetches. I started this blog to connect with fellow creativists, geeks, and cup-of-noodle addicts.

I use “I am a tattoo in the hillside” to promote geekdome (viciously underrated in our society) or anything else that tickles my fancy, to document myself in this snapshot of my life, and to reach the world where the world reaches for me. Mostly, I love to dabble in the world’s ridiculously endless sense of humor.

I love webcomics and, as an intense scribbler myself, occasionally wring out my Random in Microsoft Paint comics (a series I think I’ll start calling “YouSillyGoose comics”).

I started the blog Creative Spawn to provide a creative community sandbox for my friends and peers scattered across the United States.

My parting words:

Anne Sexton – my poetic chalk for now: “out of used furniture i made a tree”. And my mantra from e.e. cummings, my first: Grow up to be who you really are.

Stalk Me (no, that would be creepy):

  2. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Cheers

    • Hm. Thanks for the heads up. It is most probably an Opera compatibility issue because the text seems fine in Firefox and Chrome. Are other blogs in this template also mucked up on your computer?
